A special Congregation Meeting has been called by the Congregation Council with the purpose of updating the constitution and bylaws of Christ the King on November 30, 2014. The process of updating a constitution and the accompanying bylaws is undertaken at various times in the life of a congregation to both keep our constitution current with the Model Constitution of Congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and make any changes that will allow the administrative needs to better serve the ministry of the congregation. A letter explaining all the changes was mailed out earlier this week to all members. Copies of this letter and the changes is available in the narthex on the table next to the office window at the church. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Mark Spraker, president of the congregation council or Pastor Erik Allen.
Youth Christmas Babysitting
Do your Christmas shopping on Saturday, December 6, and let the Christ the King Youth Group and parents give your children a fun day of holiday activities! You can drop off anytime between 10 am and 6 pm. We will play games, watch cartoons and seasonal movies, have snack time and other fun activities.
Suggested donation is around $5/hour. Reserve your spot for only $5 per child and your reservation fee will be applied towards your overall donation. Have more than one child? Great! Our suggested donation caps at $50 per family so take advantage.
Please drop a completed form and the reservation fee of $5 per child at the CTK office for Kristine Macauley, Youth Coordinator.
