Rally Day 2017 – The youth of Christ the King helped kick off the 2017 Discipleship Hour with a well attended Rally Day celebration between services on August 13. Everyone enjoyed a brunch with delightful food & treats to eat, games, crafts, music and more in the fellowship hall. The Youth Band and Nostalgia had our toes tapping with their upbeat music. Come join us this year during the Discipleship Hour class time and “Discover Your Strength in God!”
Here is this year’s Discipleship Hour class schedule.
Back to School Supplies for Forsyth Co. Homeless Youth – A big “Thank You” to everyone at Christ the King who donated to the Back to School Supplies for the Homeless Youth in Forsyth County! Christ the King Instrumental Ensemble – Our Christian Education Coordinator and musician extraordinaire, Debbie Scarazzo has brought together a number of our talented instrumentalists in the congregation into a well-balanced ensemble. The 17-member group consists of adults and youth. They play a number of times throughout the year. We recently enjoyed the group’s beautiful music at the May 7, 11:00 am service.
