Italian Dinner

November 14, 2026, will be an evening of good food, music, rollicking humor, and a chance to purchase items at greatly reduced prices, all while supporting worthy ministries. Your attendance and auction donations will enable Christ the King to make significant contributions to:

• About Face USA

Please consider donating your gently used items with a current value of at least $25 to the silent and live auctions. Examples of items include: decorative items, kitchen equipment, appliances, gift baskets, furniture, tools, beach, camping, exercise, photographic and sporting equipment, grills, electronics, homemade items, computers, tickets to sporting events, and gift cards or gift certificates. Stays in a beach condo, a mountain cabin, or a resort for a few days to a week would be very welcome.

The menu will include Spaghetti and Meatballs, Lasagna, and Chicken Alfredo. We welcome donations of desserts.

The silent auction will open at 5:00 PM and the dinner will start at 6:15 PM. Tickets will be $25 for adults and $12 for those 12 and under. They will be on sale in the fellowship hall starting on Sunday, October 4.

WELCA Christmas Cookie Sale

Ladies of CTK, what an amazing bunch of bakers and sellers we have at CTK. Your support for WELCA is so greatly appreciated. We certainly had a banner year in 2025 with 60 bakers, 145 dozen nut cookies, 453 dozen cookies without nuts, lots of homemade cards and other miscellaneous items for sale, as well as one of the donated quilts from our Pieces for Christ quilters. Our total sales of $3,043.50 enabled us to continue our support of our various Women’s circles at CTK thanks to the generosity of all of you. Now it’s time again. Our Cookie Sale, the only fundraiser for WELCA, is scheduled for Saturday, December 12 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Thankful Thursday Lunch

Thankful Thursday lunch is open to everyone in the congregation, including all you men. Come meet your fellow worshipers from both services and make new friends.

We gather the fourth Thursday of most months. Upcoming dates are:

• Oct. 22
• Jan. 28, 2027
• Feb. 25
• April 22
• May 27

Bring your lunch, desserts will be provided.

After lunch, we will have a class in making Thanksgiving cards. Supplies will be provided. Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex so we have enough materials for everyone who is participating. If possible, please bring small scissors and glue.
