Christ the King Troop 78 is one of the most active Scout troops in the Cumming area. Our scout-led troop consisting of both young men and women, was founded on the beliefs that every scout deserves an opportunity to lead a group of peers in a safe environment where it is okay to fail. We encourage our scouts to step out of their comfort zone and to experience what life has to offer. Whether that is teaching a skill to the troop, leading a community event, or traveling all the way across the country for summer camp, our goal is for our scouts to learn to embrace new experiences.

On the site you’ll see hiking, biking, rafting and camping adventures every month. Note that in July the Troop’s big camping trip this year is a 9-day adventure to Chilkoot Scout Camp in Alaska!
